Location good, nice neighbourhood, near to underground Staff in reception polite and helpful
Service at breakfast was poor. No writing or taking notes of orders. For example I asked for muesli and it was given to someone else who came into the dining room after we had given our order. Very narrow entrance to uper rooms 1,3,4 beside the lift. Creaking, loose floor board in room 4 Shower head low
T was just a simple room for one night, there was nothing to like about it!
Very dated . In need of a good make over. Woodchip walls, grubby carpets, mould spots. Bed sheets spotless but matress needs throwing out. Poor breakfast, but adequate. For the standard of accomodation I thought it was expensive.
Nice hotel in a quiete zone
I have no complaints thr hotle & facilities were as expected.
room was clean. small room was expected. shared bathroom clean. supplied towel and soap/shampoo. internet worked breakfast very nice. eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, toast, crossiants, coffee/tea, fruit
nothing i didn't like. i only paid 48 quid so i got what i expected, but more pleasantly surprised.
No internet in the rooms. No TV in the rooms. There was a full english brekfast included in the room rate but you had to pay for fruit juice to have with it. Value for money - not good I travelled all over England for four weeks staying in B&B's / Hotels' This one was the least impresive.
It was our first visit to the Beaver Hotel - if I was planning another trip to London, I would 100% book agai at this hotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. We booked 2 single rooms with shared bathroom - we never had to wait to use the bathroom and the rooms were more than suitable. The location was very close to Earls Court Tube station so carrying bags/ shopping was not a problem. 24hr Tesco's round the corner from hotel was also very useful. We had room service for extra towels within 10mins into checking in which was good. The lack of TV in the room was not a problem as we were always in and out being very close to Earls Court Tube station. Breakfast was small but hit the spot. Service again was very good. Check out was 12pm but we were allowed to leave our bags in the store room and come back and collect them later in the afternoon. Overall - the service was excellent and our stay was very pleasant - 9/10 for definate!!
I like the quiet, safe location off the main road. Only a few minutes walk to earls court tube and facilities. Excellent cooked breakfast as well as a choice of cerial, yogurts, fruit, croissants and toast. Clean and tidy with efficient staff. Good off street parking at a very reasonable rate. I have stayed over 15 times and have never been disturbed by noise from other rooms or poeple coming in late. Standard and quality have always been consistant. This is an excellent budget hotel providing a service well above the rack rate prices. There is no drinks making facilities in the rooms but they are available to make in the dining room until midnight. This does mean that the rooms are much cleaner as a result.
Needs a little updating in places. Juice would be a nice addition to the breakfast offer, may be a small glass poured/brought to the table to reduce costs as the value is already good. No access to the vending machine after midnight which for me is a problem when i'm studying late as I use this hotel when I access my university.
The staff was very nice, good attitude. Breakfast was good, location good.
Very small rooms, the tv was very old. Internet only on 1 room wifi didn't work properly.
Mostly excellent. Food, location, price etc. Could not find fault with the staff and would stay there again.
As a disabled person it would be nice if they could improve their front entrance to a ramp - it wold not take mich expense or time to do. They have the room to make the improvements and only two steps to eliminate. Similarly the ground floor rooms could be given some disabled help - wider doors and room betwen the beds etc. Tea/coffee making facilities, even if only in these rooms would be a great improvement.
Breakfast was very good and there was a good lounge with WiFi access and a TV. People were friendly. Good location for Earls Court and Olympia.
My room was like my halls of residence in 1996. Very small, dated furniture, painful mattress and the walls were paper thin. My room was next to the staff residence and they made a lot of noise in the evening when I was trying to sleep.
Cooked breakfast, value for money, free wifi and location
Curtains in my room did not really block out the street light outside.
It was in the ideal location for us only ten mins walk to the tube and in the City Centre within 20 mins,The price was fair it had somewhere to park and most important the Staff were friendly and very helpfull!!
The receptionist was welcoming, the hotel was spotlessly clean. There was a good choice at Breakfast, and the cooked food was cooked to order, not stewed in a hotplate. The waitresses at breakfast were quick, efficient and pleasant Everything about this hotel puts a number of grander and more expensive hotels to shame.
Only one thing, the mattress on our bed was rether hard.
The friendly and courteous staff Good value for money
